During Middle East airspace closures, Epic is ensuring families, friends and colleagues can remain in close contact
Epic has taken immediate action to support its customers affected by the ongoing Middle East situation. From March 1-7, any Epic postpaid customer currently stranded in the impacted countries — UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Oman — will be able to make calls and send SMS messages to Malta free of charge. In addition, calls made from Malta to customers located in these countries will also be free throughout this period.
Epic recognises the uncertainty and stress that unexpected travel disruptions can cause for its customers. The company emphasised that staying connected with loved ones during such moments is essential, and this initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting customers when they need it most.
By offering free two‑way communication, Epic is ensuring that families, friends and colleagues can remain in close contact without any financial concern while the situation persists. The company confirmed that these measures will remain in place for the full duration of the disruption and will continue to be reviewed as developments unfold.
Epic reaffirmed its dedication to keeping customers connected and supported until normal air travel operations resume.
