QUINCY, Ill. – A Quincy man has been found guilty of intimidation following a jury trial in Adams County.
According to the Adams County State’s Attorney’s Office, David Bunn, 48, was convicted Monday after evidence showed he sent threatening text messages to a woman in September of 2024, including threats against her and her children.
Investigators later traced the phone number used in the messages back to Bunn through a search warrant served to the phone provider.
Bunn now faces a possible sentence of two to five years in prison, although probation is also an option.
The case was investigated by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by the Adams County State’s Attorney’s Office.
