The week-long solidarity initiative will enable Mobilis subscribers in affected areas to remain connected with their families while supporting the national response to the wildfires.

Algerian telecommunications operator Mobilis has announced a week-long solidarity initiative providing subscribers in areas affected by the recent wildfires with free calls and SMS messages to all networks, alongside unlimited internet access.
According to a Mobilis statement, the measure is intended to support citizens affected by the fires and enable them to remain in contact with their families and relatives during the ongoing emergency.
The initiative also forms part of the company’s contribution to the national response to the disaster, in line with directives issued by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications to support populations affected by the wildfires.
Mobilis said the free services will be activated for eligible subscribers in the affected areas, with beneficiaries receiving SMS notifications informing them that the service is available in their respective locations.
The operator added that activation would begin from Saturday evening, once the technical procedures required for each affected area have been completed.
