The Ministry of Home Affairs has blocked servers and promotional channels linked to the ‘Wingo’ app, identifying it as a ‘telecom mule’ platform. The app was allegedly used to send fraudulent SMS messages from users’ phones without consent. Citizens are warned against downloading or using such applications.
