VodafoneThree said it is trialling an upgraded SMS firewall to strengthen prevention of SMS banking fraud. The UK operator has implemented a live proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstration in partnership with the Mobile Ecosystem Forum, the Cyber Defence Alliance, and banking firm Barclays. Their collaboration expanded recently to include additional banking partners, namely The Co-Operative Bank and TSB.
