UK mobile operators blocked 166.92 million fraudulent SMS messages from reaching customers in Q1 2026, according to the latest SMS Fraud Tracker data from industry group Mobile UK. Broken down by month, they blocked 97.11 million messages in January, 40.10 million in February and 20.72 million in March. Since tracking began, UK mobile operators have blocked a total of 2.83 billion scam SMS messages.
