AI tools emerge,
Retailers gain new allies,
Future shopping’s here.
Klaviyo has introduced two new AI-driven products, Marketing Agent and Customer Agent, targeting Australian retailers. The offerings are designed to enhance the efficiency of email and SMS marketing programs and provide continuous consumer support.
Marketing Agent is engineered to assist retailers in rapidly establishing marketing strategies by analysing their websites. It autonomously plans and launches campaigns, creates content that aligns with the brand, and personalises communications while continuously learning from interactions. This tool aims to transform how retailers approach marketing by providing a comprehensive strategy and ready-to-launch campaigns.
Customer Agent functions as a 24/7 AI-powered shopping assistant, offering personalised support and product recommendations to consumers. It is capable of handling inquiries about shipping, sizing, order status, returns, and more across multiple channels, including chat, SMS, email, and soon, WhatsApp. The tool also escalates issues with full context, ensuring a seamless customer service experience.
Both products are integral to Klaviyo’s AI-first B2C CRM platform, which integrates data, marketing, service, and analytics into a unified solution. This platform is designed to streamline operations for B2C brands, combining marketing automation, analytics, and customer service.
Klaviyo’s 2025 AI Shopping Index suggests that by 2026, 63% of consumers expect AI assistants to become a standard component of online shopping.
Andrew Bialecki, co-founder and CEO of Klaviyo, stated, “Often, marketers dream bigger than the tools at their disposal. The biggest ideas don’t just need execution, they need creative thought partners to truly take flight. With Marketing Agent, we’re delivering both: the capacity to turn bold ideas into reality and an AI partner to push their creativity further. It’s about turning vision into action, and creativity into growth — all at the speed of AI.”
In addition to the launch of Marketing Agent and Customer Agent, Klaviyo announced several updates at its K:BOS event. These updates include MCP Server, Reverse ETL, Image Remix, Expanded App Marketplace, Omnichannel Attribution, and Personalised Send Time, which is currently in beta.
Klaviyo serves over 176,000 brands, providing a CRM platform that combines marketing automation, analytics, and customer service into a single solution.
