Your CIF number is in your bank passbook, typically located at the bottom of the first page.
Your CIF number can also be found in your bank’s chequebook. It’s usually on the first page.
Register your bank account using your email ID to find your SBI CIF number through SMS. Upon registration, you can request an e-statement via SMS, including your CIF number.
Directly sending a message without registration will not work. To receive an e-statement from SBI, send an SMS with the keyword ‘MSTMT’ to 09223866666 using your registered phone number.
To get your SBI CIF number via customer care, dial the SBI helpline at 18004253800 or 1800112211. After you connect, the SBI customer care executive will confirm your identity by requesting certain information. Upon successful verification, they will share your CIF number with you.
To find a CIF number of SBI using net banking, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the SBI Net Banking portal.
Step 2: Log in using your user ID, password, and captcha code.
Step 3: Go to ‘My Account’ and click ‘Profile’.
Step 4: Select ‘Account Summary’ from the dropdown menu.
Step 5: Click on ‘View Nomination and PAN’ from the options.
Step 6: Your CIF number will be displayed on the next screen.
Alternatively, you can also check your CIF number through the account statement. Select your account number, set the statement period, and select the ‘Submit’ option. Your CIF number will be given in the statement summary.
To find your unique SBI CIF number using the YONO app, follow these steps:
Step 1: Download the SBI YONO app and log the necessary information.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Services’ > ‘Online Nomination’.
Step 3: Proceed to ‘Transaction Account’ as the account type.
Step 4: Your CIF number will appear in your recent SBI statement.
