Q1: What is VoLTE?
▪VoLTE or Voice over LTE is a service that allows customers to make high-quality voice calls over 4G LTE network. Unlike traditional voice calls that use 2G or 3G networks, VoLTE utilizes the data network to transmit voice calls.
Q2: What is the difference between 4G and VoLTE?
▪4G provides high-speed data connectivity, VoLTE specifically focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of voice calls over an LTE network.
Q3: What are the benefits of VoLTE service?
▪VoLTE offers several advantages over traditional voice calls, including:
✓High-definition (HD) Voice and Video Quality
✓Faster Call Setup times:
✓The ability to use simultaneous voice and data services.
✓Improved battery life
Q4: Who can use VoLTE service?
▪It is available to all Mobile Postpaid, Prepaid and Hybrid customers, except for Data Only SIM customers.
Q5: What is the requirement to get VoLTE service?
▪To use VoLTE service, a customer should meet the following requirements:
✓Have VoLTE capable devices and 4G/5G SIM.
✓Ensure that the handset has been updated with the latest software from the handset manufacturer for VoLTE calls.
✓Need to be in a 4G/5G network.
✓Verify that the VoLTE voice calling feature on the smartphone is turned on.
Q6: Will every smartphone be able to use VoLTE service?
▪Not every smartphone will be able to use VoLTE (Voice over LTE) service. The VoLTE service can only be accessed by mobile devices having 4G/5G capabilities.
Q7: How do I know that my phone has VoLTE support?
▪You can check if your phone is VoLTE capable or not by checking Phone Settings: On some devices, you can check for VoLTE settings directly in the phone’s settings menu. Here’s a general guideline to locate the VoLTE settings:
✓Go to the “Settings” menu on your phone.
✓Look for the “Connections” or “Network & Internet” section.
✓Locate the “Mobile Networks” or “Cellular Networks” option.
✓Look for an option related to “VoLTE,” “HD Calling,” or “Enhanced 4G LTE Services. The presence of such an option suggests that your phone supports VoLTE.
Q8: Will VoLTE calls consume data?
▪No. VoLTE is a voice service and will not consume any data. Calls will be charged as per the existing normal call rates.
Q9: Do I need to have data bundles to make video calls on VoLTE?
▪No. Customers can make video calls on VoLTE without data resources. The video call will be charged as a normal call from airtime or package resource minutes.
Q10: What are the PAYGO tariffs for VoLTE Call?
▪For On-net VoLTE Voice call /Video call tariff:
✓Peak hour: Br. 0.50/minute
✓Off-Peak hour: Br. 0.35/minute
▪For Off-net VoLTE Voice call tariff:
✓Peak hour: Br. 0.75/minute
✓Off-Peak hour: Br. 0.75/minute
Q11: Does VoLTE require a separate subscription or plan?
▪VoLTE has no separate subscription or package plan; customers will call using airtime or minutes (voice package resource), and normal charges will apply.
Q12: Can customers use VoLTE internationally?
▪No. This service can be used only nationally (wherever LTE is available). However, a customer will be able to make regular calls on 3G and 2G as well.
Q13: How to activate VoLTE service in our device?
▪For Android Phones Enable VoLTE in Settings:
1.Go to the “Settings” menu.
2.Tap on “Connections” or “Network & Internet”.
3.Select “Mobile Networks” or “Cellular Networks.”
4.Depending on your device and Android version, you may find an option called “VoLTE,” “HD Calling,” or “Enhanced 4G LTE Services.” Enable this option to activate VoLTE on your device.
▪For iOS (iPhone) Enable VoLTE in Settings:
1.Go to the “Settings” app.
2.Tap on “Cellular” or “Mobile Data.”
3.Select “Cellular Data Options.”
4.Tap on “Voice & Data.”
5.Choose “LTE” or “Data Only” to enable VoLTE.
Q14: What happens if I move to an area with no LTE/5G coverage during a VoLTE call?
▪If the customer moves to an area with no LTE/5G coverage during a VoLTE call, the call may switch to a non-VoLTE connection (such as 3G or 2G) to maintain the call without interruption.
Q15: How will I know if I am on VoLTE service?
▪For Android users: The “HD/VoLTE” icon will be shown on the top bar of the screen.
▪For iOS users: There is no visual change. However, they can verify the VoLTE status through the settings under mobile data.
Q16: Is VoLTE available everywhere?
▪VoLTE is available in areas where there is LTE/5G coverage.
Q17: Does VoLTE work for both caller and receipt if only one has VoLTE?
▪If your mobile device supports VoLTE, you will be able to make and receive VoLTE voice calls when in 4G service regions, regardless of whether your caller or recipient is on VoLTE. However, to experience VoLTE Video calls, both parties must be on VoLTE service.

How to Setup?
It is a service which enable customers to access more than one number in a single SIM.
The offer has one primary/master number that contains customer profile and resource with different attached secondary numbers.

- All residential and enterprise prepaid, postpaid, and hybrid active numbers/ customers are eligible to subscribe the Multi Number service.
- Service numbers which are using multi-SIM service, Users of a group service such as CUG, Friend & Family package and Share me are not eligible to subscribe the multi number service.
- Only a maximum of 4 secondary numbers are allowed and all secondary numbers can share the same offer and account with the primary SIM number.
- The secondary number lifecycle will have the same as of the primary number lifecycle.
E.g, o If the primary number is barred due to the insufficient balance or in any case, all the secondary numbers will be barred too. When the subscriber recharges the primary number, the primary number status will change to active, and all the related secondary numbers also automatically change to active status.
It is a service enabling customers to change their voice into different voice sounds and add different background music while speaking to their friends or families.

- The service is available for all prepaid, postpaid and hybrid mobile users.
- The service does not apply for calls made to roaming service subscribers.
- The service works for local calls made from mobile to mobile/Fixed/CDMA services.
- To use the service customers shall register for the service first. After registration, the caller shall dial “604Receiver Mobile Number”. Eg: 60409********
- The voice charging shall start after 25 seconds (i.e. there will not be any charging for the 25 seconds within the call). The receivers would not be charged any tariff.
- Subscription and un-subscription for the service is free.
- User can select the Voice or Background music from pre-recorded voice or music. There is no charge while user browse and select a magic or background from the catalogue when the caller uses the service by selecting Magic voice or Background music.
