Seongdong District in Seoul (Mayor Yubo Hwa) announced that it will officially launch the direct text message complaint service, “Text Communication 365.”

“Text Communication 365” is a communication channel that allows residents to report everyday inconveniences, submit policy suggestions, and address local issues via mobile text messages. Residents can send their opinions by text without having to visit the district office in person. The service uses a dedicated mobile number, 010-6899-4239, and only receives text messages.
The district plans to operate a processing system in which the relevant department reviews the submitted opinions and conducts on-site inspections and takes necessary measures. Matters requiring long-term review will be managed separately, with ongoing updates provided on their progress.
Mayor Yubo Hwa stated, “Since every single resident’s opinion is an important starting point for policy, we will thoroughly address even the smallest inconveniences and actively reflect them in district administration.” She added, “Through ‘Text Communication 365,’ we aim to listen more closely to residents’ everyday inconveniences and suggestions, and continue communication-based governance that brings about changes residents can truly feel.”
