Local telco XOX has introduced its new family-oriented mobile plan dubbed ONEfamily. The plan offers a generous amount of data as well as an increased quota that adds 10GB for every supplementary line added.
ONEfamily starts from RM39 per month for 48GB of data, unlimited calls, and 50 SMS messages. The principal holder of the account may then add up to a whopping nine supplementary lines, with each costing an additional RM10 monthly.
As previously mentioned, each supplementary line added will see the total data pool increase by 10GB, with all the users sharing from this internet quota. However, each line will have its own SMS quota. What this means is that in theory, up to 10 users, including the principal line holder, can draw from a total pool of 138GB of data at a cost of RM129 per month.
In case that isn’t enough, users can also purchase additional data for the total quota. The telco charges RM9 for an extra 10GB, RM25 for 30GB, and RM75 for 100GB, although that last option is not available just yet. The principal and supplementary lines can be managed through the XOX self-care portal or, starting from 2 August, through the BLACK app.
