The New Hampshire DMV is warning of a new text message scam asking recipients to submit personal information.
The message says your “profile information is incomplete” and asks you to update “NH DMV contact details” by clicking on a link.
The link leads to a website that looks like an official DMV page, but it’s not.

State DMV Director John Marasco said the agency will never ask for personal information by text message. If you’re unsure whether a message is from the DMV, contact the agency directly.
Anyone who receives a text message should not submit information and should report it to the Consumer Protection Hotline at the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office at 603-271-3641 or DOJ-CPB@doj.nh.gov.
