A new scam is targeting drivers in Houston, with fraudulent text messages claiming they owe toll fees, according to Harris County Toll Road Authority.
Many residents have reported receiving texts that appear to be from local toll agencies like TxTag or EZ Tag, urging them to click a link to pay an outstanding balance. But officials warn—it’s a scam designed to steal personal and financial information.
