Bharti Airtel has revised the new voice and SMS-only recharge plans that were launched recently. The voice only plans were introduced after the telecom service provider complied with the telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) guidelines. Airtel has silently updated the prices of voice and SMS only tariff vouchers after TRAI planned to examine the newly launched vouchers.
Airtel had earlier announced new STV priced at Rs 499 which offered unlimited voice calls, 900 free SMS, and 84 days validity. On the other hand, the Rs 1959 plan offered unlimited voice calls and 3,600 SMS benefit. Post the revision the plans have become Rs 469 and Rs 1849 plans. It is important to note that TRAI had planned to examine new vouchers offered by Airtel and Jio, initially reported out Hindustan Times. The tweet by TRAI has now been deleted.

Airtel Rs 1849 Prepaid Plan
The Airtel 1849 Prepaid Plan offers unlimited voice calls and 3600 SMS messages. The plan is valid with 365 days.  The other benefits that are included in the plan are 3-month Apollo 24/7 Circle membership and free Hello Tunes.
Airtel Rs 469 Prepaid Plan
The Airtel 469 Prepaid Plan offers unlimited voice calls and 900 SMS messages. The plan is valid with 84 days.  The other benefits that are included in the plan are 3-month Apollo 24/7 Circle membership and free Hello Tunes.
