Hoxhunt has expanded its Adaptive Phishing Training platform beyond email, adding AI-powered simulations across Microsoft Teams, SMS, voice calls, callback phishing and deepfake video.
The expansion is designed to address social engineering attacks that increasingly move across multiple communication channels. Hoxhunt said its platform uses agentic AI to personalize training based on an employee’s experience, skills and individual risk context rather than relying on standardized phishing campaigns.
At the center of the platform is Hoxhunt’s Agentic Reasoning Engine, which uses threat intelligence and employee context to select simulations for individual users. Training difficulty and scenario types adjust as employees develop their skills, while the system automates delivery and measurement.
The expanded capabilities include interactive voice-phishing simulations in which employees speak directly with AI voice agents. The exercises are designed to help users practice verifying requests and responding to social-engineering pressure. Employees can also participate in exercises that expose them to techniques used by attackers.
Other simulations include executive impersonation through deepfake video, spear-phishing scenarios, text messages and Teams-based attacks. Employees receive immediate coaching after reporting or interacting with simulations.
“Now that adaptive model follows where attacks are going across Teams, text, voice and deepfake video, giving employees realistic practice before a real social engineer applies pressure,” said Mika Aalto, co-founder and CEO of Hoxhunt.
Hoxhunt also incorporates employee reporting into its human threat detection model through its Reporting Button. The company said its data shows 60% of users report a real malicious email within 12 months of participating in the program.
Hoxhunt provides human risk management and security awareness technology designed to help organizations train employees to recognize and respond to phishing and social-engineering threats.
