Everything you need to know about Taylor Swift tickets – RTE.ie

If there’s one thing you can say about Taylor Swift, it’s that she knows how to create hype.
The Shake It Off singer brings her Eras Tour to Dublin’s Aviva Stadium next June, specifically 28, 29 and 30.
The final date was just announced this week and the hype around getting these tickets is at an all-time high.
On Wednesday, WhatsApp, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat were awash with Irish fans fretting over whether they were one of the chosen few to receive access codes or have been waitlisted.
The somewhat complicated process has been put in place by the US star to ensure fans across the globe – and not touts or bots – get their hands on the tickets.
Here’s everything you need to know about securing tickets to see the country pop queen…
I’ve done nothing so far – am I too late to jump on the bandwagon?
In short, yes. You are the Anti-Hero.
Pre-registration was essential and closed at midnight on 24 June. You snooze, you lose!
For those who registered, you’ve either received an access code or been waitlisted.
Ticketmaster says that this was done through random selection of all those who pre-registered.
I’ve received a code – what next?
Congrats – you’re one of the lucky ones as you will have first access to tickets when they go on sale on 20 July.
The tickets will be released at staggered times on the day – those for the 28 June show will be released at 11am; those for the 29 June gig at 1pm; and finally, the tickets for the 30 June gig will be released at 3pm.

Expect a purchase link to be sent the day before.
I’ve been waitlisted – what next?
You need to calm down – you’re still in with a chance and may receive an access code if more tickets become available.
If you do move off the waitlist, you will receive an email and two SMS messages with your access code details and where to access tickets.
So keep an eye on your phone on the morning of 20 July, and be ready to pounce!
Any tips for the morning?
Ticketmaster advises fans to log into their Ticketmaster account prior to the tickets being released, using the log-in associated with the email address you pre-registered with.
Make sure your billing address and credit card information is up to date prior to the sale to avoid losing precious seconds when it comes to payment.
Waiting rooms will open 30 minutes before sales commence.
After searching for tickets, do not refresh.
When completing your ticket purchase, stay within one browser window. Opening multiple windows or tabs to purchase tickets may result in errors.
Accessible tickets will be available to purchase via the accessible symbol on the main event page on Ticketmaster, subject to availability.
Are there limits on how many tickets you can buy?
Yes, there is a max limit of four tickets per person / code.
How many people have received access codes for the Irish gigs?
This is not known as yet.
How much will tickets cost?
Ticket prices have not yet been announced. In the US, where Taylor is currently touring, tickets range from €45 all the way up to €411, and there is fluctuation depending on venue.
Are there age restrictions?
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult over 25 years of age.
If I get a ticket, what can I expect?
A rocking night as Swift brings fans on a journey through her almost 20-year music career.
She will cover her various eras and albums, including Lover, Reputation and Folklore.
In terms of duration, previous Swift concerts have been in the region of two hours, but the Eras Tour is breaking all expectations. Fans can expect over three hours of music, with Swift rattling through 44 of her hits – of course, not all songs will be played in their entirety.
