Individuals who received a text message from ASP Aesthetics, doing business as Chapter Aesthetic Studio, after they asked it to stop sending messages may be eligible to submit a claim for up to $550 from a class action settlement. The settlement class includes an estimated 4,891 people.
ASP Aesthetics LP agreed to pay $1.32 million to resolve a class action lawsuit that alleged it sent marketing text messages to individuals after they requested not to receive additional messages. The plaintiff claimed these actions violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Class members must meet the following criteria:
Cash payment per text message: Class members can submit a claim to receive a pro rata cash payment of up to $55 per qualifying text message for up to 10 text messages ($550 maximum).
To receive a settlement payment, class members can file a claim online or print the PDF claim form to complete and mail to the settlement administrator.
