Management at Athens ring road Attiki Odos has warned e-PASS subscribers about misleading text messages, advising drivers to ignore and delete them. The e-PASS is a small device that allows drivers to pay tolls electronically.
In a statement, the company said e-PASS subscribers “will never receive an SMS message from the company related to any pending issue or debt concerning e-PASS accounts.”
“If you receive a misleading SMS of this type, ignore it, do not click on any link and delete it. This is an attempt at digital fraud,” the statement said.
